Book Review: The Sound of Rain by Sarah Loudin Thomas

→Book Review: This book had me hooked after the first paragraph, from the coal mines of West Virginia to the timberlands of South Carolina and back into the hills of Kentucky. In this book, you can find everything from romance, a hurricane, and Faith in God above everything else. I don’t want to say much about this book because I don’t want to give the plot away but I really liked how the characters had depth and how they grew according to the circumstances and situations they had to go though. The writing in this book flows beautifully and the descriptions the author gives are so vivid that you can see them in your head. If you enjoy reading Christian literature mixed with historical fiction and a taste of contemporary then I’m sure you will enjoy reading this book.
